Why we Love It
It is time once again for Desert Divers to revisit on of our favorite places. Belize is often referred to as one of the Seven Underwater Wonders of the world. Desert Divers loves Belize for the ease of getting to one of the largest Barrier Reefs in the western Hemisphere, renowned by divers of every experience level from all around the world. The beauty and relaxed informality of this peaceful, English-speaking democracy creates a wonderful and inforgettable adventure. The Diving is spectacular. Divers can visit healthy reefs, coral encrusted walls, intriguing underwater arches, a mysterious blue hole- a huge sunken cave that spans 300 by 400 feet, you'll be sure to view the abundance of brilliantly-colored tropical fish. The variety of fish and coral species is second to none in the Caribbean. The water temperatures range from 79-85 degrees and the visibility is almost always exceptional. Want to Bring a Non Diver? What Else...
For our more adventurous customers we will offer the opportunity to dive and snorkel at "the cut" or also known as "Shark Ray Ally", where you are bound to see many carious types of sharks and a congregation of hundreds of sting rays of all shapes and sizes. This particular site offers great photo opportunities for those aspiring underwater photographers. You will capture "the shot"
