The Ocean Spirit

Desert Divers is proud to be the only facility in Tucson to offer exclusive use of its own boat, the Ocean Spirit. The Ocean Spirit allows us to access many of the fabulous dive sites in the Sea of Cortez attainable only by boat. She is a 46' twin-diesel powered vessel that comfortably seats 36 divers and has an ample sun deck to enjoy the brilliant Mexican sunshine.

Speed and Comfort

The Ocean Spirit offers the very best in speed and comfort with the capability to reach dive sites in half the time of any other charter operator in San Carlos. This allows us to visit multiple dive sites during our day trips and also offer the luxury of night diving. In addition, the boat provides easy access areas for water entries and exits, tanks, weights, and fresh-water showers. Snacks, beverages, and purified drinking water is provided on all trips. The Ocean Spirit meets all U.S. Coast Guard safety standards and carries oxygen on board.

Private Charter

The Ocean Spirit is also available for private charter for groups and organizations. please contact Desert Divers or Ocean Sports for more information.
Our captains and crew are very experienced and dedicated to ensuring your safety and satisfaction. Gratuities for the crew are strongly encouraged (this does not go to Desert Divers staff). It is customary to tip $5 to $10 per person per day. A staff member will collect gratuities on the last day of the trip.
