Fine tune your dive skills! Specialty Courses
Looking to increase your diving knowledge and in-water skills? The Desert Divers or Ocean Sports Specialty Diver program fine tunes your dive skills and allows you to explore some of diving’s most popular activities. The Desert Divers or Ocean Sports Specialty Diver program offers you the opportunity to gain additional experience and skills under the direct guidance of a Desert Divers professional. Pre-requisites for this certification: Open Water or Junior Open Water Certification; completion of two individual specialty courses; and 12 logged dives.
Junior Specialty Diver
If you’re 15 or older, and a Open Water Diver or equivalent, then you’re ready for the Specialty Diver program. Or, if you’re between 12 and 14, there’s the Junior Specialty Diver program. The Junior Specialty Diver program is available if you are a Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent certification and are diving with an adult certified diver. After successfully completing the prerequisites, you'll receive the Specialty Diver certification. This program offers you new experiences, enhanced skills, lots of diving and more adventure!
